When Yazmin approached us for a motivational, mini documentary to announce her partnership with Gymshark, we knew that we had an important story to tell. One of our main goals was to communicate Yazmin’s unique journey whilst also tying in to her local Maltese roots.

Not just a video
As part of their partnership with Yaz, Gymshark designed a custom made singlet for her to wear for her upcoming competition; The Commonwealth Games.
To introduce the concept of the slinglet, we opted to go for a user generated content styled piece, filming the video on iPhone in order to feel more organic, whilst letting the concept do the talking.
Following the rollout of the first video, we needed to communicate why this collaboration was so close to Yazmin’s heart. The best way to achieve this: a video to explain the story, using some old archival footage from Yaz, mixing it in with cinematic footage of the new singlet.
Vlogging the story
At the end of 2022, Yaz was invited the GSHQ and to host a weightlifting session at the Flagship Regent Street Gymshark Store. We captured everything that happened in a vlog.
Event photography
In February 2023, Yazmin x Gymshark organised a weightlifting workshop in Malta as part of the Gymshark 66 campaign. Our team was on site to make sure we captured all the best moments in photo.
